He also has a real heart for helping others take steps toward financial wisdom and freedom. After more than 30 years serving educators through employee benefits solutions, Tom’s passion is simply to help people flourish.

What Tom values most about Grace Point is the sense of family and the way our church keeps the unending grace of Jesus at the center of everything. Philippians 4:13 is a verse that continues to anchor his life and ministry.

Tony FlOyd

Elder/Co-Chair

Tony’s roots run deep in the Pangburn and Searcy communities. After growing up in Pangburn, he earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Ouachita Baptist University. He went on to own and operate a heating and air-conditioning business with his family in the area for over 25 years, and he now works for an international HVAC manufacturer. His lifelong connection to this community continues to shape his love for Searcy and the surrounding areas.

Over the years, Tony has faithfully served in a few local churches through roles such as volunteer youth leader, deacon, and elder.  He values the vital role the local church plays in the life of every believer and is grateful to God for the opportunity to serve at Gracepoint Searcy. Tony has been married to DeSonya since 1994, and together they are blessed with four grown children.

ALVIN WILKERSON

Elder/Secretary

Alvin Wilkerson is a 20-year U.S. Navy man who worked his way through the enlisted ranks and retired as a Lieutenant. After leaving the Navy, Alvin surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and answered the Lord's call.

Alvin graduated from Knox Theological Seminary, receiving a Master of Divinity. After graduation, Alvin transitioned to Pastoring four churches, with the pleasure of planting two of them. The Lord has used Alvin’s life experiences as His tool for sharing Christ’s love with people who are desperately seeking hope.  Alvin’s hobbies include the “art of Intarsia,” in which he takes the natural beauty of numerous species of wood from around the world and sculpts them into something that comes alive.
